Celebrate your graduate’s achievements at the Ozarks Tech Commencement Ceremonies. No tickets are needed, and there’s no limit to the number of guests who can attend.
Where to Go
Guests: Head to Great Southern Bank Arena. Doors open 90 minutes before each ceremony.
Graduates: Go to Hammons Student Center. Doors open 90 minutes before each ceremony.
Grads and their guests may park for free in MSU parking lot #25 or Bear Park North.
What to Bring
Travel light. Backpacks, balloons, flowers, outside food or drinks, and weapons are not allowed by MSU. Flowers are available for purchase inside the arena.
Plan Ahead
Choose a meeting spot outside the arena before the ceremony. This makes it easier to reunite with your graduate after the event.
Getting In
MSU Security will check all bags and use metal detectors. Gifts and allowed bags may slow entry, so arrive early to move through quickly.
Finding a Seat
Seating is open and first come, first served. No tickets are required.
Accessibility Options
Accessible seating is available for guests with temporary or permanent disabilities. These areas do not require stairs. Ushers can help you find a seat, if needed.
Ceremony Ending
The ceremony ends with a formal exit by faculty and your graduate. Your graduate will leave from the northeast side of the arena. Plan to meet them outside at your chosen spot.
Be Respectful
Help make the ceremony special for every graduate:
- Stay seated during the ceremony.
- Hold applause until you’re invited to cheer.

Looking for a gift? The Ozarks Tech Bookstore offers diploma frames and other graduation gifts. Flowers will also be sold inside the arena during the ceremony.
