If you’re graduating in the next commencement ceremony, whether you’re earning a certificate, an associate degree, or a bachelor’s, you’re invited to the annual Grad Prep event. This is your chance to take care of everything in one place so you can walk into commencement fully prepared and ready to celebrate!
What to expect:
- Pick up your regalia (cap, gown, tassel, cords) — provided at no cost.
- Ask any questions you have about graduation procedures and the ceremony.
- Receive your alumni gift and join in a celebratory atmosphere with refreshments.
- Visit with our Career Services team for résumé tips, interview prep, or job-search help as you step into the next chapter.

Date: Wednesday, April 8, 2026
Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Location: Plaster Manufacturing Center (PMC) Lobby & Gentry Room, Ozarks Tech Springfield Campus, 1001 E. Chestnut Expressway.
What if you can’t make it?
No problem! If you’re unable to attend Grad Prep in person, you can still pick up your free cap and gown after the event (and up until the day of commencement) at the OTC Bookstore on the Springfield campus. If you’re at a different Ozarks Tech location, check with your Student Services office, and we’ll help get your regalia shipped to your location at no cost.
