If you’re a student feeling stressed, dealing with a hard situation, or worried about a classmate, you can use the forms below to connect with the right people and support. Students and employees can fill these out for any enrolled student, and if you’d prefer to stay anonymous, that’s totally okay. You’re activating a system of care, and we’ll connect with the student within two business days.

Directory of Ozarks Tech Supports for You
- Access and Accommodation Resources (formerly Disability Support Services: We work with students, staff, and faculty to create a learning environment where everyone is respected, and we help coordinate support for all kinds of academic challenges.
- Adult Education & Literacy: Free, personalized classes to help you build basic skills, learn English, prepare for the HiSET/GED, and get ready for college or a career—with new sessions starting every 8 weeks.
- Canvas Support (OTC Online): Whether you’re comfortable using technology or rarely use a computer, we’ll support you with any questions regarding Canvas and any other instructional tools.
- Carol Jones Writing Center: The Writing Center is a friendly place where anyone can get free help with writing, study in a cozy space, and use computers and a printer—no matter your skill level or where you are in the process.
- Computer Labs: Open computer labs are available at each campus and center for student use.
- Connect with Your Navigator: College Navigators at OTC are your go-to advisors who support you from application to graduation with help in academics, finances, career planning, and connecting to campus resources.
- English Language Learning: Free English Language Learner (ELL) classes for adults who are no longer in school, with both day and evening options available.
- International Programs: Supports students from around the world, so your transition to studying in the U.S. feels smooth and welcoming.
- Ozarks Tech Bookstore: Your one-stop-shop for course materials, apparel, graduation items, and more!
- Ozarks Tech Libraries: All students can access academic support, research help, and much more from Ozarks Tech Libraries in-person and online.
- Technical Resources: Students have access to free services like printing and and software to support your coursework.
- Testing Services: We offer safe, low-stress spaces at every Ozarks Tech location where students and community members can take exams with ID checks to keep things fair.
- Tutoring & Learning Centers: Ozarks Tech offers free tutoring—both in person and online—for students and community members in many subjects, and friendly staff are always happy to help you get started, whether you walk in, text or join online.
- Veterans & Military Services: Personalized assistance with admissions, financial aid, academics, and other resources from a Military Friendly-certified college.
- Café 101: Located in the Springfield campus Information Commons building, Café 101 serves tasty and affordable breakfast and lunch options for everyone—open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Career Services & Dress for Success: Career Services helps students and grads get ready for work by offering support with job searches, resumes, interviews, and building strong connections with employers. Students who need professional attire for job interviews, on-the-job wear, presentations, or commencement ceremonies can visit their free Dress for Success Closet.
- Eagle Breakfast: Show your student ID to grab a free breakfast every morning at any Ozarks Tech location.
- Federal Work Study: Offers part-time campus jobs that help eligible students earn money for school—positions pay $13.80/hour and fill up fast, so it’s best to apply early.
- Fresh Harvest: Pick up free fresh fruits and veggies every Wednesday during the growing season at the Springfield campus.
- Mobile Pantries: We team up with local pantries to give out free groceries each month at the Springfield, Table Rock, and Waynesville locations. Check your campus bulletin boards for dates each semester.
- Counseling Services & Victim Advocacy: All students can receive free, confidential support for mental health, substance use, and domestic/sexual violence, with easy in-person or online appointments—no referral needed.
- Fitness Center: The Fitness Center in ICW 118 is free for students and employees, offering a clean, safe space with great equipment and helpful staff to support your health and fitness goals.
- Pregnancy & Parenting Assistance: If you’re pregnant, a new parent, or have experienced pregnancy loss, the college Title IX office is here to support you with protections and help—just reach out early so we can work with you on any needed accommodations.
- Student Engagement: Campus life at Ozarks Tech is full of fun ways to get involved—join a club, attend free events, explore honor societies, or even start your own group and make your mark.
- Dean of Students: Ensures a safe campus where students’ rights are respected by guiding behavior standards and enforcing college policies in the Student Handbook.

Crisis Text Line
- How it works: You text “HOME” to 741741. You will receive automated responses while being connected, followed by a response from a live, trained volunteer Crisis Counselor who will have a back-and-forth conversation with you.
- What it’s for: You can reach out for support with a wide range of issues, including stress, anxiety, loneliness, substance use, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts.
- Availability: The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, throughout the United States.
- Cost: The service is free, and standard text message rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.

- What it’s for: Serves as a resource hub for immediate help, connecting students to specialized support services such as suicide prevention, domestic violence assistance, veteran support, LGBTQ+ crisis help, and abuse reporting.
- Availability: Users can call the numbers directly from the page for immediate assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Cost: Calling or texting these hotlines does not cost anything, though if someone is referred to ongoing therapy or treatment, those services may involve fees depending on insurance or provider.

- Availability: Services are open to everyone, and Jordan Valley has multiple locations across Southwest Missouri.
- Cost: Care is affordable, with sliding fees based on income and programs to help lower costs.
Enrolling in SNAP?
College SNAP Project
- How it works: The College SNAP Project shows you how to apply for SNAP benefits in each state and explains the steps to get help buying groceries.
- What it’s for: It’s designed to help college students who are struggling with food insecurity access affordable, healthy food through SNAP.
- Availability: SNAP benefits are available to eligible students, including those at community colleges and technical schools.
- Cost: There’s no cost to apply for SNAP, and if you qualify, you’ll receive monthly benefits to help pay for groceries.

Family Justice Center
- How it works: The Family Justice Center brings many victim support services together in one safe place so you can get help without going from office to office.
- What it’s for: It’s designed to help anyone experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking or abuse find safety and support.
- Availability: Services are available to anyone in Greene County and surrounding areas who needs help.
- Cost: All services at the Family Justice Center are free and confidential.

Need something to wear for a job interview, work, or graduation? The Dress 4 Success Career Closet has free clothes, shoes, and accessories for all OTC students, including scrubs and gear for the trades.
