Your degree audit shows the requirements for your Program of Study and how far you have come. It updates each time you run a new audit and helps you make sure you are taking the right classes.
The Registrar’s office also uses your degree audit to confirm your graduation eligibility.

What a degree audit shows
Your degree audit gives you a clear view of your academic progress. You can see what you have completed, what you are taking now, and what you still need to finish. You will also see total hours and charts that update each time you run a new audit.
Why are some courses listed in Excess Courses?
These are classes that do not meet a requirement for your current program. If you believe a course should count, talk to your navigator.
When to run a degree audit
Run a new audit anytime your academic record changes so you always have the most accurate information.
Run an audit:
- After adding or dropping a class
- After final grades post each semester
- Before meeting with your navigator
- Before you apply to graduate
Why did my previous audit disappear?
Completed audits clear out each night. Run a new one to see the latest version.
Using your audit to plan ahead
Your audit helps you understand how future terms may fit into your program. Use the Planner tool inside your audit to see how planned classes could affect your timeline and progress.
Can I run a What If audit?
Yes. A What If audit shows how your completed classes would count in a different program. It does not affect financial aid, navigator assignments, or graduation eligibility.
Checking your progress for graduation
When you apply for graduation, the Registrar’s office reviews your most recent degree audit. All requirements must show a complete or In-Progress status. Before applying, run a new audit and confirm everything is accurate.
What should I do if something looks incorrect?
Talk to your navigator. Your navigator can help you review your audit and resolve any issues.
Need help understanding your degree audit?
If you have questions about your degree audit, planned classes, exceptions, catalog year, or graduation progress, talk to your navigator. Your navigator can help you understand what you are seeing and what to do next.
