If you maintain a strong GPA, you’ll graduate with special honors, recognized on both your diploma and transcript.
How Academic Honors (Scholastic Honors) are Awarded
Honors are based on your Ozarks Tech cumulative GPA at the end of the semester before you finish your program. The Registrar uses this GPA to determine honors for both certificates and associate degrees.
Your eligibility is based on the honors policy in effect when you were admitted (or readmitted after being away for more than one year).
Honor Levels
- Cum Laude – GPA of 3.50–3.84
- Magna Cum Laude – GPA of 3.85–3.99
- Summa Cum Laude – GPA of 4.00
