Ozarks Tech recognizes students for high academic achievement in two ways: Academic Honors Lists (awarded each fall and spring semester) and Academic Honors (awarded upon completion of a certificate or associate degree).
Academic Honors Lists
Honors recognition may be earned by both full- and part-time students. Recognition is awarded for fall and spring only for students who excel academically in that semester. Courses below 100-level will not be included.
Students who complete 12 or more credit hours will be eligible for the Chancellor’s and Dean’s lists. Students who complete fewer than 12 credit hours will be eligible for the Provost’s list.
Chancellor’s List
- Complete 12 or more credit hours
- Earn a GPA of 3.85 or higher
Dean’s List
- Complete 12 or more credit hours
- Earn a GPA of 3.50 to 3.84
Provost’s List
- Complete fewer than 12 credit hours
- Earn a GPA of 3.75 or higher
How Honors are Awarded
Chancellor’s List, Dean’s List, and Provost’s List recipients can expect a certificate in the mail shortly after the end of the semester. Congratulations, students! What an honor!
Scholastic Honors
A special distinction is awarded to students who demonstrate high scholarship in completing a certificate and/or associate degree.
