Turn Curiosity into Creation

Explore advanced manufacturing through hands-on experiences, guest speakers and tours of Springfield area manufacturing sites.

In this five-day camp students will get hands-on experience with designing, precision machining, welding and wiring an electrical circuit. They will also learn basic entrepreneurial concepts, hear from guest speakers from the local industry and tour Springfield area manufacturing sites.

Because students will be working with real machinery, it is important for them to follow safety guidelines and wear protective clothing during the camp. This includes closed-toe shoes and jeans free of rips and tears.
