College Credits Earned While in High School
Turn your high school work into college credit.
If you completed college-level courses or exams while in high school, those credits may apply toward your Ozarks Tech degree. Programs like Advanced Placement (AP), Dual Credit, International Baccalaureate (IB), and the Missouri Seal of Biliteracy can help you start college with credits already on your transcript.
Next steps
Send your official score reports or transcripts as outlined on the linked pages. Once processed, you’ll receive an updated record showing how your credits apply. Your college navigator can help you interpret your results and plan your next semester.
Types of high school credit Ozarks Tech accepts
-
If you completed AP exams, your scores may qualify for Ozarks Tech credit once official score reports are received. You can also review course equivalencies to see how your scores may apply.
-
If you took Dual Credit courses in high school, request official transcripts from the college that awarded the credit. Ozarks Tech will evaluate those courses for transfer once the transcript is received.
-
If you completed IB exams or the full Diploma Programme, Ozarks Tech evaluates official IB transcripts to determine credit eligibility and course equivalencies.
-
If your high school awarded you the Missouri Seal of Biliteracy, you may receive Ozarks Tech credit for demonstrated language proficiency once your high school transcript with the seal is submitted.
