Register with Safety & Security

You can take simple steps to help keep yourself and others safe on campus. By registering with Safety & Security, you’ll make sure we can reach you quickly in an emergency and help protect your vehicle while you’re on campus.

Register Your Vehicle 

Do you drive to campus? You must register your vehicle with Safety & Security. When you register your car, you: 

• Make sure you can be contacted if there is a problem with your car. 
• Helps Safety and Security respond quickly in case of an accident or emergency. 
• Help keep parking lots safe and organized for everyone. 

Emergency Alert System 

You don’t need to sign up – we’ve already done it for you. All students are automatically added to the Ozarks Tech emergency Alert system. 

• You’ll get urgent messages about severe weather, campus closures, or other emergencies. 
• Alerts go to the phone number you have on file and your Ozarks Tech email. 
• You can opt out, but we strongly recommend staying in for your own safety. 
• If you opted out but would like to receive the emergency alerts, sign into MyOTC, click on the helpful resources tab on the side menu, click on OTC Emergency Notification, and add a new phone number.
