Missouri programs that help you pay for Ozarks Tech

If you live in Missouri and plan to attend Ozarks Tech, you may qualify for state-funded grants and scholarships. These awards do not have to be repaid and many students combine them with federal or institutional aid. Most programs require you to file the FAFSA by February 1 for priority review, with a final deadline of April 1.

Major State Programs

A+ Scholarship

If you graduated from an A+ designated Missouri high school, you may be eligible for tuition funds that cover classes at Ozarks Tech. This program is one of the most common ways Missouri students pay for community college.

Access Missouri

Access Missouri is a need-based scholarship. Your EFC (Expected Family Contribution), as calculated on your FAFSA determines eligibility and award amounts, which can be applied directly to your tuition and fees at Ozarks Tech.

Fast Track Workforce Incentive Grant

Fast Track helps adults train for high-demand careers. You may qualify if you are 25 or older (or out of school for two years), have not earned a bachelor’s degree, meet income limits, and plan to enroll in an eligible Ozarks Tech program.

Bright Flight Scholarship

For high-achieving Missouri high school seniors who attend college in the state.

Advanced Placement Incentive Grant

For students who score well on AP math or science exams at Missouri public high schools.

Kid’s Chance Scholarship

For children of workers seriously injured or killed in a work-related accident.

Public Service Officer Survivor Program

Tuition assistance for families of certain public employees killed or disabled in the line of duty.

Education & Training Voucher (ETV) Program

Provides up to $5,000 per year for eligible students who were in foster care.

Wartime Veterans’ Survivors Grant

For children and spouses of Missouri veterans disabled or killed in combat since Sept. 11, 2001.
