Public Speaking Showcase

Inspire the crowd, win up to $550 — open to COM-100/105 students and alums
The Public Speaking Showcase is a competitive opportunity for students at Ozarks Tech to give a short speech of inspiration on how Ozarks Tech has been the smart choice of college for them and for their academic career, with $1000 in prizes being awarded between the top 3 speakers.
The prize breakdown is $550 for 1st place, $300 for 2nd, and $150 for 3rd.
This opportunity is open only to current OTC students who are enrolled in COM-100 or COM-105 or who have completed either of these courses in the past. Selected finalists will have the opportunity to participate live at the Public Speaking Showcase, where a panel of judges will decide the winners!
The Public Speaking Showcase event will take place at 6pm on Thursday, March 13th in room 103 A/B of the Plaster Manufacturing Center (PMC) on the Springfield Campus.
Attendance of this event is open to all who wish to come view these inspirational student speakers.
