If you stop attending or participating, your instructor may remove you from the course.
When Administrative Withdrawal Happens
- 14 days in a row: If you miss 14 consecutive calendar days in a seated course or if you fail to participate in an online course for 14 consecutive calendar days (including weekends, holidays, or breaks), your instructor will withdraw you.
- Never attended: If you don’t show up at all, your instructor will withdraw you by the roster verification deadline.
Can I get back in?
- Re-enrollment is only allowed at the instructor’s discretion, usually after making a plan to succeed.
- You may request re-enrollment from your instructor. If the instructor says yes, forward that email to [email protected].
Why it matters
An administrative withdrawal may:
- Reduce or cancel your financial aid
- Require you to pay back aid you already received
- Delay your graduation
- Still require you to pay tuition and fees
Questions?
Talk to your instructor if you are worried about withdrawal or want to request re-enrollment.
