MyCAA helps eligible military spouses pay for licenses, certificates, or associate degrees that lead to portable careers. Use it at Ozarks Tech for approved programs listed in your MyCAA plan.

What you get

Up to $4,000 in financial assistance for eligible spouses (MyCAA program cap).

Check your eligibility and apply

  • You must be a spouse of an active-duty service member in pay grades (spouses married to members of the National Guard and reserves in these same pay grades are also eligible):
    • E-1 to E-5
    • W-1 to W-2
    • O-1 to O-2
  • Your spouse must be on Title 10 military orders.
  • You must be able to start and complete your coursework while your spouse is on active duty.

DS Logon (DSL) is a single sign-on web application that makes it easy for the users to access their information across DOD and VA partner websites. Users have visibility to see personally identifiable information (PII); Personal Health Information (PHI); claim statuses, and records.

  • Log in using your DS Logon credentials.
  • Complete your MySECO profile with education, experience, and career goals.

Create your MySECO account.

Read and accept the Terms and Conditions.

Complete a short quiz to confirm understanding.

Call 800-342-9647 to speak with a SECO career coach.

They’ll help you identify a suitable career path and program.

  • Work with your career coach to select a MyCAA-approved program.
  • Meet with your Ozarks Tech Admissions Counselor or College Navigator to register for the upcoming semester.
  • Contact [email protected] to obtain an Education and Training Plan (ETP).

  • Log in to your MyCAA account.
  • Create your Education Plan including:
    • Career goal
    • School name = Ozarks Technical Community College
    • Program and course details
  • Upload the ETP provided by Ozarks Tech.
  • Allow up to 14 business days for review.

  • Once your plan is approved, log in and click “Request Financial Assistance.”
  • Select:
    • Ozarks Technical Community College
    • Term dates
    • Courses
  • Submit your request 60 days before classes start, but no later than 1 day before.
