The Ozarks Tech Honors Program is for motivated students who want more from their college experience. Honors lets you go deeper into your courses, work closely with faculty, and connect with other high-achieving students. Along the way, you’ll open doors to scholarships and recognition that will set you apart.
How It Works
The Honors Program fits into any Ozarks Tech degree. You’ll complete a mix of courses and projects that challenge you to go deeper. To graduate with honors, you’ll need to:
- Take HON 101-1HON1/VHON1: Honors Seminar (offered seated/virtual each fall and spring semester)
- Take HON 290-WHON1: Honors Service Learning (offered online every semester).
- Earn 9 additional honors credits through honors courses or contracts
- Maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher
Students who complete the program graduate with an Honors Studies Certificate of Specialization—an achievement earned by less than 1% of Ozarks Tech graduates.
