Ozarks Tech serves as a Host Training Organization (HTO) for the Great Plains OSHA Education Center at Metropolitan Community College in Kansas City, Missouri. OSHA courses and programs are developed by the OSHA Training Institute Education Center and delivered locally by subject matter experts.
Training focuses on occupational safety and health regulations that help you prevent injuries and maintain safe worksites. You’ll learn to:
- Identify and assess workplace hazards
- Implement preventive and corrective measures
- Prepare for emergencies and ensure regulatory compliance
- Promote health and safety for yourself and your team
Interactive instruction and practical exercises give you the skills to recognize risks and apply OSHA standards effectively in your workplace.

Short-Term Course Cancellation & Refunds
Short-Term Course Cancellation & Refunds
If Ozarks Technical Community College cancels a short-term course, a full (100%) refund will be issued.
If a student needs to withdraw from or switch a course, they must notify us at least ten (10) business days before the course begins. Requests made within ten business days of the start date are not eligible for a refund.
Refunds are issued through Nelnet and sent to your My Refunds designation. If you have not set up My Refunds, a check will be mailed to you. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.
