This state-approved course is designed to teach individuals how to perform the inspection of cross-connection and backflow prevention systems in order to successfully pass the ASSE Backflow Prevention Assembly Testers exam. This course and exam comply with MO, AR OSHA/USEPA and ASSE requirements for Backflow Prevention Assembly Testers.
Prerequisite(s): At least five (5) years of experience in a plumbing, pipefitting or related industry field.
Backflow Prevention Recertification Prep & Exam (ASSE 5110)
Duration: 1 Day

This refresher course will cover the knowledge and skills necessary to re-certify those who were previously certified to perform the inspection of cross connection control and backflow prevention systems. Certification cannot be more than 6 months expired. Provide a copy of your certification card which will be submitted to ASSE upon completion of the course and exam.

If Ozarks Technical Community College cancels a short-term course, a full (100%) refund will be issued.
If a student needs to withdraw from or switch a course, they must notify us at least ten (10) business days before the course begins. Requests made within ten business days of the start date are not eligible for a refund.
Refunds are issued through Nelnet and sent to your My Refunds designation. If you have not set up My Refunds, a check will be mailed to you. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.
