Course Options While in High School
There are two popular options for participating while in high school: Dual Credit and Early Start. However, students may have additional options through the school district in which they reside. Students can participate in multiple options at the same time.
Dual Credit
You can start earning college credits while in high school without physically attending an Ozarks Tech location, but with the same access to support and resources. A select list of online general education courses are available at a discounted rate.
Dual credit is an inexpensive way ($57/credit hour) to complete general education courses that transfer to any public college in Missouri.
Early Start
Early Start gives you the option to complete courses in a learning format and location of you choosing at the regular Ozarks Tech tuition rate. Use this program to focus on general education studies or a program of your choice. Early Start courses must be paid out of pocket.
