How to Build a Partnership

While enrollment in Ozarks Tech Dual Credit has grown each semester for the last several years, we are still accepting new school partners! Ozarks Tech Dual Credit costs the least, gives the most back to school districts in remuneration ($25 per student completers of seated courses), and Ozarks Tech credits transfer just like other universities or colleges.

Any school within the Ozarks Tech service area can participate. Schools outside the service area can contact Dual Credit for options.

  1. Determine the type of dual credit to offer at your school: seated with a high school instructor, online with an Ozarks Tech instructor, or both.
    • High school instructors must complete the application process below to understand possible seated course options at their school.
  2. Obtain a principal signature on the Dual Credit Agreements via DocuSign (request via [email protected]). Let us know which type of dual credit is requested in the communication. Afterward, we will provide the relevant Ozarks Tech Dual Credit letter(s) for marketing to students and parents and as a helpful resource to school personnel throughout the upcoming semester.
  3. If the school partner wishes to cover the cost of classes and/or course materials, the school must also obtain a principal signature on the Financial Agreement (request via [email protected]). The Financial Agreement is optional; not returning the Financial Agreement will result in billing applied to the student accounts only.
  4. After submitting the document(s) above, eligible students may begin the enrollment process. Schools requesting seated course options communicate the term those courses will be offered prior to students starting the enrollment process.

Costs, Payment Options and Remuneration

Costs

See the Dual Credit Course Options page for the cost per class by approved courses and schools.

Payment Options

If your school wishes to cover the cost of dual credit for your students you may request a financial agreement to allow Ozarks Tech to bill your school directly. Your school may choose to cover classes and/or course materials for all students. Ozarks Tech cannot partially bill a school for only some students enrolled in dual credit. Signed and returned agreements are automatically valid for an academic year. To request a financial agreement email [email protected].

Remuneration

Ozarks Tech Dual Credit is the most inexpensive option and gives the most amount of funds back to school partners compared to other colleges in the region. For the seated dual credit option only (courses taught at the high school with an Ozarks Tech-approved instructor) Ozarks Tech remunerates $25 per credit hour back to the partnering school district for each student who successfully completes the course offered. High School Partners determine how the funds are used locally. Online course options are not eligible for remuneration.

How to Add Seated Course Options for High School Instructors

Thank you for your interest in teaching Dual Credit with Ozarks Tech! Many instructors prefer to partner with Ozarks Tech, due to the ease of enrollment processes, low costs to their students and extended time on payment, the resources and supports available, the quality for courses and the transfer guarantee of credits to other colleges.
