A. Purpose
To establish clear, consistent guidelines governing which catalog requirements apply to students for completion of their program of study.
B. Policy
The college determines a student’s catalog of graduation at the time of initial enrollment as a degree-seeking student.
C. Procedures
Students are required to meet the general education and program requirements outlined in the catalog in effect at the time of their initial enrollment as a degree-seeking student.
If a student discontinues enrollment for more than one calendar year (12 consecutive months), they will be placed in the catalog of graduation that is in effect at the time of re-admission as a degree-seeking student. If a student changes their program of study, the catalog in effect on the date of the change will apply.
If program requirements are revised in subsequent catalogs, students may choose to adopt the newer catalog year by submitting a request to update their catalog year. Students who are unsure which catalog applies to their program should consult with their college navigator.
Other changes to catalog of graduation must be approved by the Provost.
