Larry Snyder

Larry K. Snyder is a graduate of Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Mo. He graduated with a B.S. in Business, Marketing and Management and has been in the construction and development business for the past fifty years. As the founder of Larry Snyder & Company, a commercial and industrial construction business, he built a history of strong partnerships through consistent, reliable work. Today, Snyder Construction Group, continues that legacy of knowledge, relationships, and expertise using modern technology and old-fashion relationships to grow connections and capabilities through their work across the United States. The Springfield Business Journal has consistently recognized Snyder Construction Group as the region’s number one commercial construction contractor.

Mr. Snyder also co-owns Dynamic Systems, a company specializing in construction within medical facilities, manufacturing environments, and public housing.

Because of his interest in training a responsible, productive workforce in the area, Mr. Snyder sought the office of Trustee at Ozarks Tech. He believes that the college is the key to workforce training and is a major contributor to economic development in the area. Mr. Snyder was elected to the Board of Trustees in April 2006 and has continued his board service over the past 19 years, contributing significantly to the college’s expansion and strategic direction through his leadership and dedicated service.
