From concept to construction, the Judy and Mike Breeding Clock Tower on the Springfield campus is a work of art that reflects the innovative, collaborative spirit that’s defined Ozarks Tech for more than 35 years.
What began as a dream of Chancellor Hal Higdon’s became a reality thanks to the homegrown talent of partners from across southwest Missouri, including Dake Wells Architecture, Trinity Stainless, DeWitt & Associates, Storee Construction, ESC, Inc. and many others.
Here’s the best part: several people who helped build it once sat in our classrooms themselves, including Trinity Stainless President BJ Johnston.
Now, they’ve come full circle, helping create a campus landmark that future students will forever remember as distinctly Ozarks Tech.
Check out the story behind the build.
The Judy and Mike Breeding Clock Tower was made possible by the generous investment of longtime Ozarks Tech supporters Judy and Mike Breeding. The project was completed in conjunction with the grand opening of the Michael L. Parson Student Union on the Springfield campus.
