This course provides a minimum of 16 hours of in person didactic instruction as required by the Missouri Division of Fire Safety for the purpose of meeting the eligibility of retesting for Hazardous Materials Operations certification. Students who complete the Hazardous Materials Operations Refresher will be eligible to take the MO Division of Fire Safety’s Hazardous Materials Operations certification written exam up to two additional attempts.
Note: Students must have completed a HazMat Operations course w/practical skills testing within 18 mos of the refresher start & within one year of the NFPA 470 cycle end. They must also have used both written exam attempts from their prior Operations course.
