Ozark Mountain Conference Hosts Inaugural Annual Art Exhibit
and Competition Springfield, MO. The Ozark Mountain Conference is thrilled to
announce its first-ever annual Art Exhibit and Competition, showcasing the
exceptional talent of high school artists from across the region. Selected
student artwork will be on display at the Ozarks Tech Fine Arts Building
(1001 North National Ave., Springfield, MO), where it will be judged by
esteemed area art professionals. Awards will be presented at the conclusion
of the exhibit. Participating high schools include Carl Junction, Bolivar,
Branson, Hillcrest, Logan-Rogersville, Marshfield, and West Plains. This
marks the first time these schools will compete at the conference level, with
each institution selecting up to 30 outstanding pieces for competition in a
variety of 2D and 3D categories. The exhibition will culminate in a closing
reception on April 18th at 5:30 p.m., at which awards will be announced, and
students will have the opportunity to celebrate their achievements. Guests
will enjoy refreshments and a live performance by the Ozarks Tech Jazz Combo.
Event attendees are welcome to capture the moment with photos, which may be
shared on the district’s website and social media platforms, including Instagram
