Hidden Figures Film/Space Vision Roundtable Discussion

Watch Hidden Figures, then hear from OTC students who won a national SEDS competition
Interested in space exploration or a career in the space sector? This event is for you. The Ozarks Tech chapter of Phi Theta Kappa recently had three students and two faculty/staff members attend the SEDS (Students for the Exploration and Development of Space) Space Vision conference in Seattle, Washington.
These students won the SEDS “Space Development for Earth” challenge/competition, beating out teams from several R1 universities. And members of the groups have also participated in the highly competitive NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars (NCAS) program. Now they want to share their experiences, thoughts, and ideas with you.
Ozarks Tech PTK is hosting a showing of the film “Hidden Figures” on Thursday, November 20, at 2pm in LCN 211 on the Springfield campus, followed by a roundtable discussion from our recent SEDS Space Vision students/faculty/staff travelers.
Come join us for a great event dedicated to space exploration and careers in the space sector. This event is open to all Ozarks Tech students, faculty, staff, friends, and family members.
