Article III of the college Policies and Procedures Manual provides employees an outline of the expectations and other matters related to their employment at the college. These policies are not intended to create an employment contract, and nothing within them should be construed as a guarantee of continued employment. All employees are employed at-will, which means that the employment relationship may be terminated at any time, with or without cause, by either the college or the employee, subject only to policies approved by the board of trustees and consistent with applicable laws.
It is the responsibility of all employees to read, understand, and abide by the college Policies and Procedures Manual, including those in Article III. Furthermore, all employees are expected to devote their professional services and individual skills to the realization of the institution’s mission and objectives, and to discharge their duties in such a way as to reflect positively upon the college.
The college reserves the right to revoke or revise current policies or add new policies as needed without prior notice to employees. To maintain flexibility in the administration of policies and procedures, the college has an established procedure of review and oversight for all policies and procedures.
If you have any questions about policies and procedures in Article III, please consult with your appropriate supervisor, or the Office of Human Resources.
