Criminal History and Disciplinary Review

If you have a criminal history or previous disciplinary record and want to understand how it may affect admission or program placement, you can request a confidential review.

The Dean of Students’ Office will review your information confidentially. In most cases, you’ll be contacted if additional details or documentation are needed. The review looks only at factors related to college admission or program eligibility—it does not automatically disqualify you from enrollment.

Once the review is complete, you’ll receive an email explaining the outcome or any next steps. If questions come up about specific program requirements or background checks, the Dean of Students’ Office will connect you with the right department for follow-up.
