Changes to Student Refunds Starting Summer 2026

Beginning summer 2026, Ozarks Tech will no longer be utilizing the OTC SmartCard for student ID and refund preference selection.

Ozarks Tech will begin using My Refunds, through Nelnet Campus Commerce, for all student account refunds.

How My Refund Works

My Refunds is a convenient, easy, and quick way to receive student refunds. It provides a simpler experience when it comes to providing ACH banking information for direct deposit of your refunds.

Students who have completed My Refunds can expect to receive their funds 1–2 business days from the processed date.

How to Complete My Refunds

To complete My Refunds, students should log into myOTC and then select Student Accounts. Under My Refunds, select Manage My Refunds. You will then provide your direct deposit information to complete My Refunds.

You only need to do this once. If you need to update your direct deposit information later, return to Manage My Refunds. Please be sure that your information is correct prior to refund disbursement.

Ozarks Tech will begin using My Refunds, through Nelnet Campus Commerce, for all student account refunds. The college will also be transitioning to a new campus ID card system to launch June 1. More information about the new student ID will be shared soon.

Nelnet is the college’s longtime partner and provider of My Payment Plan. Reminder, all students are required to complete their My Payment Plan agreement on the same day of registration.

Nelnet is easily accessible directly through myOTC. You can register for courses in myOTC and then click on Student Accounts to access My Payment Plan and My Refunds.

MyOTC is your one stop shop when it comes to setting up and reviewing your My Payment Plan(s) as well as completing My Refunds.

Students who have completed My Refunds can expect to receive their funds 1-2 business days from the processed date.

After you register for courses:

  1. Sign up for My Payment Plan (for each semester)
  2. Complete My Refunds (only needs to be done once unless changes are needed)

  • Select Sign up for My Payment Plan
  • Select Manage My Refunds

To complete My Refunds, an account number and routing number are necessary. Students with questions about whether their account type will work for ACH direct deposit should reach out to their financial institution.

Yes, students can log into myOTC to manage their My Refunds anytime to make changes. Students should ensure their information is correct prior to the refund disbursement date.

We expect Bank Mobile checking accounts to remain active and banking services to continue for students who have an active checking account with Bank Mobile.

Because Ozarks Tech is no longer partnering with Bank Mobile for student ID and refund services, students who have a Bank Mobile checking account are encouraged to contact Bank Mobile customer service at 1.877.504.2095 if they have any questions or concerns.
