The Office of Accreditation and Assessment supports the college’s commitment to academic excellence.
The office maintains institutional accreditation and supports faculty, administrators, and staff in sustaining program quality through programmatic accreditation. It also facilitates the assessment of student learning—a process used to understand what students know, think, and can do as a result of their educational experiences. Through these efforts, the college upholds high standards for teaching, learning, and continuous improvement.
What the Office Does
The Office of Accreditation and Assessment:
- Serves as the Accreditation Liaison Officer and maintains institutional accreditation through the Higher Learning Commission.
- Acquires and maintains appropriate accreditation for all eligible programs.
- Facilitates the assessment of student learning to guide curriculum and program improvements.
- Promotes internal quality through the Integrated Planning process.
- Supports the efforts of the Office of Academic Affairs.
