Proxy Account Access

Give a parent, spouse, or other support person their own myOTC login to view the information you choose to share.

Proxy access allows you to grant someone online access to parts of your student record. Each proxy receives their own myOTC login and can only view the information you authorize. You remain in full control and can change or revoke access at any time.

Note on Release of Student Information

Proxy access only allows someone to view records online. It does not let them talk with staff or request printed records on your behalf.

If you want staff to be able to speak with the support person, complete the Release of Student Information Authorization Form instead.

How Proxy Access Works

A proxy is someone you authorize to see parts of your student record online. Each proxy gets their own myOTC login and can only view the information you select.

What Your Proxy Can See

You can share some or all of these categories:

• Student Accounts: Account activity, tax information
• Financial Aid: Offer letter, awards, required documents, loan requests, financing plan, satisfactory academic progress
• Academics: Grades
• General: Notifications, required documents

How to Add, Edit, or Remove a Proxy

In myOTC, go to User Options > View/Add Proxy Access. Use the pencil icon next to your proxy’s name to:

• Change what they can see
• Remove their access
• Reinstate a proxy you previously removed
  You can add more than one proxy, as long as each has a unique email address.

Annual Reauthorization Required

Each year, you’ll be asked to confirm your proxy’s access. You’ll see a notification in myOTC and receive an email reminder.
