Proxy access allows you to grant someone online access to parts of your student record. Each proxy receives their own myOTC login and can only view the information you authorize. You remain in full control and can change or revoke access at any time.

Note on Release of Student Information

Proxy access only allows someone to view records online. It does not let them talk with staff or request printed records on your behalf.

If you want staff to be able to speak with the support person, complete the Release of Student Information Authorization Form instead.

How to Add, Edit, or Remove a Proxy

In myOTC, go to User Options > View/Add Proxy Access. Use the pencil icon next to your proxy’s name to:

Each year, you’ll be asked to confirm your proxy’s access. You’ll see a notification in myOTC and receive an email reminder.

Questions and Troubleshooting

  • Proxies can only view online information you authorize
  • They cannot register you for classes, change your address, or make edits to your record
  • They cannot view anything you did not select

Proxy access is only for viewing information online. If you want someone to talk with Ozarks Tech staff about your records, complete the Consent to Release Student Information form. That person will need to show photo ID or provide the PIN number you created for them.

No. If you change or revoke proxy access, your proxy is not notified. If you want them to know, you’ll need to tell them yourself.

  • If your proxy forgets their login, they should contact the IT Help Desk at 417-447-7548
  • New accounts may take up to one hour to sync — try again later if login fails
  • If your proxy was once an Ozarks Tech student and changed their legal name, they must submit a Change of Student Information form with proof of the change

Only you, the student, can grant, edit, or remove proxy access.
