The Club Team gives you a casual space to play with other students and learn from competitive players in a friendly environment. The Competitive Team is for serious gamers who want to play at the varsity level against colleges across North America.
Both teams practice and play in the Esports Arena with coaching support.
Club Team
- Open to any student who wants to join
- No GPA or enrollment requirements
- Play in a casual, supportive environment
- Learn from competitive players
- Build community with other gamers
- Games include Apex, Hearthstone, Mario Kart, Overwatch 2, Rocket League, Smash, Valorant, and more
Competitive Team
- Play in official leagues through NACE and NJCAAE
- Must be a full-time student with at least a 2.0 GPA
- Follow the team’s attendance and code of conduct policies
- Pass account checks from game publishers (Riot, Epic, Nintendo)
- Get access to coaching, team jerseys, and swag
- Top players eligible for scholarships up to $1,000 per year

You must be a full-time Ozarks Tech student with at least a 2.0 GPA to join the Competitive Team. Anyone can join the Club Team.
Most competitions are online. Occasionally the team may travel together for tournaments.
There is no cost to participate. Ozarks Tech covers competition expenses.
