Online sessions

Online tutoring must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. After scheduling, you will receive instructions for accessing the online classroom. Before your session:

  • Review the instructions carefully
  • Run the setup wizard on your computer
  • Plan to communicate through your computer or by phone if needed

Use the Writing Center space

The center is located on the second floor of the Information Commons in Room 200A. You can stop in to ask questions, study, or work on writing. The space includes computers, a printer, reference materials, and a comfortable sitting area.

Because tutoring is conversational, the center is not a silent study area. If all computers are in use and a tutor needs one, you may be asked to move.
