Student Instructions
Students must submit a separate form for each proctored exam they wish to complete at a non-Ozarks Tech facility. Before you submit the Off-Campus/Dual Credit Proctoring Approval Form, you will need to reach out to your non-Ozarks Tech facility to confirm they are available to proctor your exam.
For dual-credit students, the best and preferred option is to take proctored exams at your high school with a high school employee designated as the proctor.
Proctoring Expectations
Once the form is submitted, it will not be approved until Testing Services contacts the non-Ozarks Tech facility to verify that they agree to:
- Verify the student’s identity.
- Ensure the testing room is quiet and conducive to testing.
- Monitor the student for the entire duration of the exam.
- Ensure the exam is completed in one sitting.
- Not allow the student to see or enter the exam password.
- Follow all instructions provided by the instructor.
- For paper/pencil exams, scan and email the completed exam to the instructor.
- Report any incidents of suspicious behavior or blatant cheating to the instructor.
- Ensure that proctors are not relatives, friends, clergy, or employers of the student.
Approval Process
- Once Testing Services hears back from the non-Ozarks Tech facility, an approval or denial email will be sent to the student.
- If approved, Testing Services will send the exam and exam information to the non-Ozarks Tech facility the day before the scheduled exam.
- If denied, the student will need to find a different location and resubmit the Off-Campus/Dual Credit Proctoring Approval Form.
