Take your exams for seated, online, or dual credit classes at an official Testing Center.
If your course includes a proctored event, a make-up exam, or off-campus testing for dual credit, you’ll schedule an appointment at a Testing Center on your campus or another nearby Ozarks Tech location.
All exams must be scheduled in advance.
What Kind of Exam Are You Taking?
Make-up Exams
If you miss a scheduled exam, your instructor may allow a make-up. All make-up exams must be approved by your instructor before you schedule a time.
- Make-up exams are offered at all Testing Centers
- You must schedule your own appointment
- Instructors must submit exam materials before you test
- If you’re testing at a different institution, allow at least 2–3 business days for processing
- There is no fee for Ozarks Tech make-up exams
You’ll still need to bring a photo ID and complete your exam before the Testing Center closes. Walk-ins aren’t allowed.
Ozarks Tech Online Exams
Most Ozarks Tech Online courses require at least one proctored exam. These exams must be scheduled in advance and taken at a Testing Center.
- Your instructor will list exam details and the testing window in Canvas
- You’ll schedule an appointment at your preferred Testing Center
- You’ll need your Ozarks Tech login and photo ID on test day
- No additional fees are charged for online course exams
Note: Some instructors may use Proctorio instead of Testing Services. Check your Canvas course to confirm where and how you’ll test.
Dual Credit & Off-Campus Proctoring
Dual Credit & Off-Campus Proctoring
If you’re taking an Ozarks Tech course through a high school, you may be eligible to test at your school with an approved staff member.
- Submit the Off-Campus Proctoring Approval Form at least 2 business days before your exam
- Ozarks Tech Testing Services will review and confirm approval with your school
- This option is not available for COM 100/105 Exams
- You do not need to fill out this form if you plan on using Proctorio
Once approved, Testing Services will send the exam and instructions directly to your school’s designated proctor.
