SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Ozarks Tech leads Missouri with 12 students named to the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) All-Missouri Academic Team, the most selections earned by any community college in the state this year.

Ozarks Tech was eligible for a maximum of four All-Missouri Academic Team awards per location—two workforce and two transfer students—across the Springfield, Richwood Valley and Table Rock campuses, as well as the Lebanon, Republic, and Waynesville education centers.

Ozarks Tech students earned every available award slot, accounting for 20 percent of the statewide PTK All-Missouri Academic Team. The achievement reflects both the students’ academic excellence and the college’s strong commitment to student success.

The students were recognized at the Missouri Community College Association awards luncheon at Stephens College in Columbia, where they received an award and scholarship.

Also in attendance: Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Provost Aaron Light, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Danny Gutirrez, PTK Advisor Todd Yerby and other members of Alpha Psi Tau, Ozarks Tech PTK Chapter.
