First Gen Club – Scholarship Application Workshop

The First Gen club is hosting a scholarship application workshop! The Ozarks Tech Scholarship Coordinator will be joining us to share tips on crafting strong scholarship essays. In addition, Writing Center tutors will be available to help you brainstorm, develop, and edit your work.
We’ll also cover general scholarship strategies, including how to identify and avoid scholarship scams. By the end of the meeting, each student will leave with at least a rough draft of their essay and be better prepared for the June 1st scholarship deadline. Make sure to bring your laptop!
