The Richwood Valley Campus includes a storm shelter, designed to protect students, employees, and community members during severe weather.
When is the storm shelter open?
- During normal campus hours, the shelter opens any time the National Weather Service issues a Tornado Watch for Christian County.
- After hours, please allow 15–30 minutes for the shelter to be opened by staff.
What should I bring?
- Water
- Snacks, if needed
- Personal items such as medication
Please note: The shelter is not equipped to house pets.
