The Flying Eagles Disc Golf Course is a 9-hole course located at the OTC Richwood Valley Campus, right next to the walking trail. Both the course and the trail are open to the public, providing students, employees, and community members with additional opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.

About the Course

Created by Ozarks Tech employees, the course was designed to be fun and accessible for everyone. Disc golf is a growing sport that combines the precision of golf with the casual fun of frisbee.

The Flying Eagles course is beginner-friendly while still offering a good challenge for experienced players.

  6. Hole 6 – 279 ft (par 3)

  • Play at your own risk and watch for flying discs.
  • Be courteous to walkers and campus visitors.
  • Do not throw when others are in range.
  • Stay aware of your surroundings.
  • Do not climb fences, creeks, or structures to retrieve discs.
  • Pack out trash and keep the course clean.
  • No alcohol, tobacco, or drugs.
  • No unauthorized vehicles.
  • Stop play during lightning or storms.
  • Do not disturb wildlife or sensitive areas.
  • Free and open to all users.

  • Each throw counts as one stroke; lowest score after 9 holes wins.
  • Tee throws must be made from designated tee pads.
  • After tee-off, the farthest player throws next.
  • Throws must be made from where the disc last landed.
  • Discs must stay in bounds; roads, trails, and buildings are out of bounds.
  • Do not throw into roads, sidewalks, or parking areas.
  • Groups should be limited to 5 players; allow faster groups to play through.
  • Resolve disputes by group consensus, using PDGA (Professional Disc Golf Association) rules if needed.
