Access and Accommodation Resources works to make every campus, classroom, and digital tool usable for all students. Use this page to learn about available assistive technology, how to report a barrier, and options for getting to and from campus.
Assistive Technology and Campus Tools
Students registered with Access and Accommodation Resources have access to technology that supports reading, writing, and note-taking.
Available tools may include:
- Screen readers and text-to-speech software
- Speech-to-text or dictation tools
- Accessible classroom equipment
- Alternative testing technology
Your Accessibility Coordinator can help you determine which tools fit your approved accommodations and show you how to use them effectively.
Reporting Barriers on Campus
If you encounter a physical or digital barrier that limits your access, contact Access and Accommodation Resources right away.
Examples include:
- Inaccessible doors, sidewalks, or restrooms
- Classroom seating or lab equipment that’s difficult to use
- Technology or online materials that do not work with assistive software
