Start earning college credits early with the Early Start program. The Early Start program is available for high school, homeschool and HiSET students at least 16 years of age. Courses are available at any Ozarks Tech location, including online.
About Early Start
All courses you take as an Early start student will be added to your college transcript, but some may even count for high school credit. To get started you’ll complete the standard Ozarks Tech admissions process and get assigned to an admissions counselor. Your admissions counselor will assist you with planning your courses and registering for classes.
Course Costs
- You are responsible for course tuition and fees and the cost of course materials.
- Early start students are not eligible for financial aid.
MDHE Reimbursement Scholarship
The Missouri Department of Higher Education’s (MDHE) Dual Enrollment Scholarship is available at Ozarks Tech, and may be used to help pay offset the cost of your tuition. This is a reimbursement program for Early Start or dual credit class costs only. Any type of financial assistance is not reimbursed to the payee.
