DESCRIPTION:Fall is here and that means the annual Ozarks Tech Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) Fall Harvest Parade is coming up soon! The preschoolers will be parading in their costumes on Friday\, October 31st. If you would like to see all the cuteness and say hello to our youngest Ozarks Tech students\, please find a spot either outdoors or indoors along the parade route. Please note\, that the indoor portions of the parade will be on the first floors only. The parade will leave from the ECEC at 9:15am. The children will gladly be accepting treats and there will be approximately 60 children participating in the parade. We hope to see you along our parade route for some fall fun on Friday\, October 31st!

The Ozarks Tech chapter of Phi Theta Kappa recently had three students and two faculty/staff members attend the SEDS (Students for the Exploration and Development of Space) Space Vision conference in Seattle\, Washington. \nThese students won the SEDS “Space Development for Earth” challenge/competition\, beating out teams from several R1 universities. And members of the groups have also participated in the highly competitive NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars (NCAS) program. Now they want to share their experiences\, thoughts\, and ideas with you. \nOzarks Tech PTK is hosting a showing of the film “Hidden Figures” on Thursday\, November 20\, at 2pm in LCN 211 on the Springfield campus\, followed by a roundtable discussion from our recent SEDS Space Vision students/faculty/staff travelers. \nCome join us for a great event dedicated to space exploration and careers in the space sector. This event is open to all Ozarks Tech students\, faculty\, staff\, friends\, and family members.
